Mekik Halı started its commercial life in 1978 as a company engaged in marketing activities. Our company, which has shown the fastest growth in wall-to-wall carpet production in Turkey and as a result has taken its place among the leading companies, started its production in 1991 with the ESCORT brand in a total area of 16,000 m² in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone. Our company produces and sells wall-to-wall tufted carpets, non-slip based gel runners and artificial grass carpets used for landscaping purposes in a wide variety of patterns and colors with different weaving techniques.
Our company established the company Serbest Carpet in 2000, in a total area of 28,000 m² in Kayseri Free Zone, in order to produce the second base (polyester felt), which is an important input that determines the costs. For recycling and raw material supply to the staple fiber facility, Escoplast company, which has a recycling facility in an area of 15,000 m² in Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone, has been put into operation. Finally, with the carpet printing facility and Gel Coating facility we have imported and established from Europe, we have reached the most advanced level in our sector in wall-to-wall printed carpets, non-slip based gel runners and synthetic grass carpets.
Mekik Halı, which makes all its investments using its own resources, continues its investments in the same way to ensure continuity of service. Our company, which transfers the experience and knowledge it has gained domestically to foreign markets, exports to more than 20 countries.
