Gaziantep Middle East Carpet Fair

Gaziantep Middle East Carpet Fair

Mekik Carpet, which took its place as a participant in the Gaziantep Carpet and Decoration Fair, held for the third time this year, attracted great interest from the visitors.

Mr. Veysel BOZKURT, one of the company officials we met, who presents his works with different products, colors and patterns to the visitors, gave information about the institution and its works.

Founded in Kayseri in 1978, Mekik Hali A.S. It entered the carpet market as a marketing company and has met all the needs of our customers with its effective marketing and service network in Anatolia, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia for many years, and has become a sought-after company in terms of sales, quality and after-sales service.

Our company started to produce wall-to-wall carpets in the early nineties with German-made fiberglass type weaving looms, and introduced its production to the sector in a short time with the contribution and guidance of our end dealers, as well as its knowledge and experience in marketing. With the withdrawal of Yünsa from the sector, it acquired the tufting looms of this company, and not only that, it modernized its machinery with new looms imported from Europe and America and became an integrated facility that can appeal to the sector.

Our goal as a company is; First of all, by improving the types of carpets suitable for our portraits that are needed in the sector day by day, by minimizing the change of hands until they reach the final consumer with better quality, by providing more economical goods to the consumers, to spread the consumption of wall-to-wall carpets throughout the country, and in parallel to this, to our country where imports are made, even though it is our traditional art. In the 2000s, we entered as a company that could export a large part of its production. Also, our sister company SERBEST CARPET is active in the Kayseri Free Zone.

Gaziantep Carpet and Decoration Fair makes very important contributions to the sector with its traditional structure and gives the opportunity to introduce the new products of the participating companies, which are followed closely among us manufacturers, to the visitors.

We are looking forward to meeting the people of the region again within the scope of the fair to be held next year. He said, “We thank everyone for the interest and concern shown.”
